Heartwell was born from a gap I felt in my own life as a working mom: a place to put everything down for a minute, feel heard, and have someone help me figure out what comes next.
Hi, I’m Kayla!
My Story
I didn’t set out to create Heartwell.
I was a coach before I was a mom, and I genuinely loved my clients. I loved being able to listen, help someone make sense of what they were navigating, find resources, and connect them with the right support. But over time, I found myself wanting to go deeper. I wanted to create a space where we could look at the whole picture, not just one problem or one goal.
Then I became a mom.
And suddenly, there was this whole other part of my life that needed me, too.
I loved working motherhood. I loved the structure it gave me, the strength and independence it brought out in me, and having something that was mine outside of motherhood. Work became a place where I felt capable, grounded, and like myself.
Through my own experience with postpartum anxiety and postpartum OCD, I eventually realized just how much I was relying on that part of my life.
Working was my escape from the noise. From the anxiety. From the constant thoughts in my head. It was a place where I could breathe, focus, and feel free for a little while.
And that realization changed the way I thought about support.
I knew how much I loved connecting people with the right resources. I knew how much I valued having someone in your corner who could listen without judgment and help you figure out what you actually needed. And I knew that my heart was with working moms.
Because working motherhood can be incredibly fulfilling, and it can also be a lot to hold.
I wanted to create the kind of support I believe working moms deserve: a place to put everything down for a minute, feel heard, and have someone help you figure out what comes next.
That became Heartwell.
Not a place to tell you how to be a better mom. Not another thing to add to your list.
Just thoughtful, practical support for the woman who is building a life she loves and sometimes needs a little help carrying it all.
XO, Kayla
My Approach
I believe good support starts with curiosity, not assumptions.
There’s no formula for working motherhood. My role is to meet you where you are, ask the right questions, and help you see what may be harder to see on your own.
Start with curiosity
I’m here to ask questions, not hand you a rulebook. We’ll get curious about what’s working, what isn’t, and why.
Make it yours
Your support should reflect your life, your priorities, your capacity, and what matters to you.
Find the clarity
The goal isn’t to give you another list to keep up with. It’s to help you understand what actually needs your attention, what can wait, and what comes next.

You don’t have to have it all figured out before you reach out.
Sometimes you need a place to put it all down and figure out what comes next.
